Heidi: that her daughter Maliya is here.
Svetlana: this Saturday went to St. Patrick’s parade in Madison.
Bob Johnson: glad to be back from his stay at the Florida Keys.
Tammy: went to New York for trade show (got to see Hamilton) and birthday / anniversary celebration, trip to Chicago with friends to see the St. Patrick’s Day events and the very green river.
Steve H: for Chamber business of the year nomination (Congratulations to Steve who won the award!) and Leo’s car repairs are moving along with paint job for replacement body parts. He is happy be interviewing office staff with good candidates.
Peggy: happy that she was able to expedite her passport which arrived on Monday. She leaves April 5th for Budapest.
Getting to know our student Rotarians
Maliya Kopras is a senior this year, played volleyball, has been accepted to study in Iowa and is waiting to hear back from UW Madison to study nursing.
Going to see her sister in Barcelona Spain. Visiting Nice France, Portugal and Spain with family.
Works as an intern at Family Dental with Russ and training at Prairie Haus working with Franke.
Update on student exchange from Judy.
Joey received a 2k scholarship for his trip to Brazil.
Soren is touring Italy this week
Second host family Jada and John Hook. Jada reached out to Judy 7 years ago that her family was a host family. Judy remembered that conversation and contacted Jada.
May 3rd our club is presenting a 10’ talk for the Chamber of Commerce Good Morning Mt. Horeb event at 8 am.
Peggy is working with the chamber on putting together a volunteer fair event late summer or fall.
Shawn:
Has a list of businesses who have not yet paid for their placemat ad. She has a check and a check signed by someone named Jody with a PO box in Janesville.

Plan Commission
Our Village Plan Commission will be considering a proposal to build a 5 story apartment building on the lot occupied by the old fire station in historic downtown Mt. Horeb on Wednesday, March 22 at 7:00 pm in the board room at the Municipal Building. If you have opinions about this proposal, this is the day and place to share them.
